Parricide in Peristeri on New Year’s Eve (video)

In a family from Uzbekistan that accepted Greek citizenship, on the night of December 31 in Peristeri, the son killed his father.

Edition newsbreak.gr tellsthat there is a history of domestic violence behind the murder of a 62-year-old man by his 35-year-old son. Back in 2017, the head of the family was arrested for attacking and beating his relatives. Over the next few years, his behavior was aggressive towards his wife and children.

The family comes from Uzbekistan; the parricide lived with his parents. After the tragic incident, he was detained and charged with premeditated murder and carrying a weapon, and will be brought before an investigator. He stabbed his father 3-4 times in different parts of his body. The blow to the leg turned out to be fatal.

At one in the morning, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, the father entered the room of his son, who was playing a game on the computer. The remark he made started a fight that ended in murder. Immediately after this, the son called the police and confessed to the murder. “I killed my father,” he told officers. As soon as the police arrived at the house where the murder was committed, they handcuffed the man and took him to the West Attica Security Directorate.

Behind the bloody incident lies another family tragedy. During interrogation, the parricide said that his mother was a victim of domestic violence by her husband. Therefore, when the father entered their room drunk and tried to hit the woman, he grabbed a knife and killed him. Multiple stab wounds occurred on the victim’s neck and chest, and one stab hit the victim’s thigh and caused profuse bleeding.

In his testimony, the young man claimed that his father was very aggressive towards his family and especially towards his mother, whom he often beat. Because of this behavior, the guy’s younger sister left home and now lives alone.

Just recently, a couple of days ago, our publication told about a similar incident: “Crime and Punishment” in Kalyvia, a man tortured his wife and children every day.” There, the parricide turned out to be a 16-year-old teenager.
