A teenager injured by fireworks in Chania has had the fingers on his right hand amputated.
No matter how much the police, health workers and the media admonish, the same thing happens every year: young people suffer from explosive pyrotechnics. Literally on the eve of Easter Greek law enforcement agencies released a social video about how dangerous firecrackers and other pyrotechnics can be. Some become disabled, and others even die.

Nikolaos in the village of Galatas (Chania, Crete). The minor is currently being treated at Chania Hospital. During the incident, his mother was with the child and took her son to the hospital for first aid. At the same time, the boy immediately ended up on the surgeon’s table.
According to local publication e-kriti, the child had three fingers on his right hand amputated. A case was opened against the mother for neglect of a minor. The child remains hospitalized in the hospital.
