On the night of Friday in the General State Hospital of the metropolitan area of Nicaea there was strange new firewhich OENGE Secretary General P. Papanikolaou and former Minister P. Polakis called “arson”.
This time, the warehouse on the first floor in the lobby of the hospital was engulfed in flames, and the fire brigade arrived immediately. Ten firefighters in 5 vehicles extinguished the fire.

Two days ago, a fire broke out in one of the departments of the surgical clinic on the second floor for an unknown reason, as a result of which patients were evacuated from the department.
Friday’s fire started in a warehouse on the first floor, as Panos Papanicolaou, a neurosurgeon and general secretary of OENGE, said in a social media post, it occurred in the ambulance building.
A video of the second fire in several days at the Nicaea State Hospital was posted by former Deputy Minister of Health Pavlos Polakis, who calls for action, also mentions a third fire at the “A” surgical clinic and calls on the authorities to “arrest the arsonist.”
The third fire is also mentioned by the neurosurgeon and general secretary of OENGE, Panos Papanicolaou, who writes in his post: “It was put out by the doctors on duty. It is now clear that it was arson.”
Looks like the police need to step in and look for the arsonist before the hospital is completely burned down.
