Egyptians from… “hospitality structure” tried to rape a 17-year-old girl and threw stones at her 22-year-old partner on the beach in Piraeus

A 17-year-old girl and her 22-year-old partner found themselves in a dire situation Tuesday afternoon on Freatida Beach in Piraeus when they were targeted by a gang of four Egyptians aged between 17 and 19.

It should be noted that Egyptian migrants live in a refugee shelter in the region of Omonia and Piraeus, and are known for their criminal behavior in the center of Athens and the southern suburbs, where in recent days they have been raiding, stealing mobile phones, cash and any other valuable items that find.

Four Egyptians attacked the man and his girlfriend in a coordinated manner. First, they threw stones at him to frighten him, and at the same time, two of them grabbed the girl. They held her hands and began to undress her in order to rape her. To keep her boyfriend at a distance, they threatened him with stones in their hands, saying that “if he comes closer, they will break his head.”

According to one of the eyewitnesses, “the four foreigners lost their self-control and control over their actions, they became very dangerous.” A 15-year-old boy who was watching and came running to help was also attacked, and one of the Egyptian gang members even tried to steal his mobile phone, just like the abused girl. The teenager was beaten with fists and kicks. They even tried to cut him with a can and a broken beer bottle.

Eyewitnesses reported to the police, and a few minutes later, in the vicinity of Piraeus, a hunt began for four hooligans in order to find and arrest them. Two of them were detained near Freatida beach. They reported that their third accomplice had fled to a shelter for foreigners in Piraeus, and a fourth perpetrator had been arrested not far from that place.
