Company AstraZeneca admitted for the first time that its Covid-19 vaccine… kills, because it can cause thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS).
It is worth noting that on the Athens News website dated 18/04/2021 we reportedthat the vaccine, which has been administered to hundreds of thousands of Greeks, causes cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST).
It's a major admission from the pharmaceutical company that, according to the Telegraph newspaper, which discovered the documents, represents an unprecedented change in AstraZeneca's position and could pave the way for a multimillion-dollar damages claim. AstraZeneca is in court following a class-action lawsuit alleging that the vaccine it developed in collaboration with Oxford University has caused deaths and serious complications in dozens of cases.
Lawyers for the families involved in the class action claim the vaccine caused a side effect that had a very serious impact on a large number of people.

“AstraZeneca has just admitted in court that its Covid shots can cause a serious side effect in the form of blood clots. This is simply amazing news. Now they are facing a class action lawsuit from victims who suffered after “experts” lied to them about “safety and effectiveness” and lawyers claim the AstraZeneca jabs are NULL.
Jamie Scott: the man who filed the first lawsuit
The first lawsuit was filed last year by Jamie Scott, a father of two who suffered permanent brain damage after blood clots and bleeding in his brain left him unable to work following his April 2021 vaccination. The lawsuit describes how the hospital where he was vaccinated called his wife three times and told him that her husband would die.
AstraZeneca disputes these claims, but in a legal document submitted to the High Court in February acknowledged that its Covid-19 vaccine “may, in very rare cases, cause TTS“TTS is thrombosis thrombocytopenia syndrome, a recently described serious condition in which abnormal blood clots form in the brain or other parts of the body, as well as low platelet levels.
51 lawsuits to date
A total of 51 claims have been filed in the High Court in the UK by people claiming to have been victims, as well as people claiming their relatives died due to side effects, seeking compensation estimated at up to £100 million. The AstraZeneca acknowledgment could lead to compensation if the company admits the vaccine caused serious illness and death in those claims.
It should be noted that the UK government has committed to covering any damages that AstraZeneca may be required to pay. In a response letter to Jamie Scott's lawyers in May 2023, AstraZeneca said: “We do not accept that the syndrome TTS caused by the vaccine as a whole.”
But in a legal document filed in the Supreme Court in February 2024, AstraZeneca said it “acknowledges that the AZ vaccine may, in very rare cases, cause TTS. The causal mechanism is not known.” She adds that “TTS may also occur in the absence of the AZ vaccine (or any other vaccine). Causality in each individual case must be a matter of expert opinion.”
Lawyers claim the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine is “flawed” and its effectiveness has been “grossly overstated”, which AstraZeneca vehemently denies.
The Telegraph article recalls that scientists first identified a link between the vaccine and a condition called immunothrombocytopenia and vaccine-induced thrombosis (VITT) back in March 2021, shortly after the launch of the Covid-19 vaccine: “It took three years to make this assumption.”
Kate Scott, Jamie Scott's wife, told the Telegraph newspaper that “The medical world has long accepted that VITT is caused by the vaccine. Only AstraZeneca disputes that Jamie's condition was caused by the vaccine.”.
She added: “It has taken three years for this recognition to be made. It is progress, but we would like to see more from them and the government. It is time to speed up the process.”
“I hope their admission means we can resolve this issue sooner than we thought. We need an apology, fair compensation for our family and other families affected. We have the truth on our side and we are not going to give up.”concluded the British wife, who is one of dozens of those who sued AstraZeneca.
