The investigator is considering new materials in the case of Kostas Fragulis being fatally wounded by a policeman during a chase.
A new criminal case has already been requested and opened against a 34-year-old police group DI.AS for manslaughter with possible intent. The charge was revised after the death of a minor who was in intensive care at the Ippokratio hospital (Thessaloniki) for 8 days. In connection with the new charge, a police officer will be called to give additional evidence.
Recall that the previous verdict of the court was the decision of the Council of Criminal Affairs of Thessaloniki, which states that defendant released under restrictive conditions (with a written undertaking not to leave the country). After the death of the victim, a 16-year-old gypsy, the case will be reviewed, and a new, presumably stricter, decision will be issued by the court to punish the perpetrator.
