On Friday morning, robbers broke into the house of a married couple in the Egaleo district, immobilized the owners and stole 8,000 euros.
The criminals broke the door from the roof and went down to the second floor, where a 60-year-old man and his 57-year-old wife lived. Entering the apartment, the robbers tied them up, handcuffed them and gagged them.
After that, they slowly searched the whole house, found 8,000 euros, gold coins and valuable jewelry. Having taken the booty, the thieves retreated. As soon as the victims managed to free themselves, they called the police.
Law enforcement officers combed the area, and also conducted an inspection of the scene in order to find fingerprints and genetic material. The investigation is being conducted by the West Attica security service, informs CNN Greece.
