A few hours ago, on Saturday morning, October 23, a man fired shots at the employees of the gas energy company on Tatoi Avenue (Kifisia).
The furious man was unhappy that gas bills had skyrocketed. According to the available information, as a result of the incident, two were injured, and one died in the hospital a few hours later.
As reported on the central Greek TV, the owner of the firearms found himself in a terrible “everyday” situation, faced with the fact that cold weather sets in, and prices for gas and heating soared. The 40-year-old man, apparently, decided to express his complaints to the gas workers who were doing work on the street, and fired at them from the balcony.
The wounded were taken to the KAT hospital, and after a while one of the victims died of his wounds.
The police began to investigate the incident. According to preliminary information, the personality of the “shooter” has been identified, the man has psychological problems. The authorities intend to find out where the firearms came from the “psychotic”.
