69-year-old killer of Greek couple arrested in Albania (video)

69-year-old Thomas Mastoras, who killed an elderly Greek couple in Dropoli, was arrested in Albania. The criminal and victims lived in the same village.

How reports Pronews, Albanian police have identified the killer of two elderly Greeks: his victims were 80-year-old Kostas and 84-year-old Kleoniki Ilias, living in the village of Vodrista in Dropoli, in Northern Epirus. The criminal has been arrested. The department of Argyrokastro reported that the killer was Tomas Mastoras, a resident of the same village. The incident was allegedly caused by quarrels between him and the victims.

The man, previously convicted of theft, hit them with a sharp object. At the time of their death, the couple had about 5 million lek (about 50,000 euros) in the apartment. Other sources claim that the man was drinking coffee with an elderly couple, then a quarrel and a fight broke out, and he attacked them with a “sharp object.”

During a search of the killer's apartment, police discovered and seized the crime weapon, a certain amount of ammunition, a cutting tool and other items sent for examination.
