A wonderful sunny day, good for drinking coffee, eating a croissant, thinking about the eternally beautiful, if not for a criminal event that forced a crowd of passers-by to scatter in all directions.
Citizens happened to almost become participants in an armed robbery that occurred “in broad daylight” in the center of the district, when they saw a man running away with a weapon in his hands.
The robbery took place on 23/04 at the diagnostic center located on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street in Kallithea. According to Greek police, at about 17:00 a man with his facial features covered broke into the medical center. Threatening with weapons, he immobilized the employees, took an unknown amount of money from the cash registers and disappeared.
A police investigation is currently underway to find and arrest the culprit.
