Details have emerged of the murder of 17-year-old Vladimir Ermakov, a basketball player of the Ukrainian national team, who was stabbed to death in Germany. His friend, who was also injured in the incident, is now in intensive care.

According to the German publication Bild, At about 8 o’clock in the evening, two athletes were traveling on a bus from the Centro shopping center to the main railway station.

On the bus they encountered other young people, and the Ukrainians were probably provoked. The basketball players got off the bus at the main station to catch a train to their home in Düsseldorf and were immediately attacked.

He is already known to police as a serious criminal who has committed several attacks and robberies. The second person detained is reportedly a 14-year-old boy of Greek origin from Herne, who is also known to the police for his criminal exploits.
