The Taliban, who returned to power on August 15, 2021, have made it clear that they are very different from the “old” Taliban. Apparently, this is why videos have appeared online showing groups of Taliban patrolling Kabul, moving through the streets on… roller skates.
During the earlier period of their reign, for “acceptance of sinful Western lifestyle“, such an action could be punishable by death. But now, it seems they have realized that if they do not evolve, they will not last long. Perhaps over time they will evolve into other things…
