Video: Armed robbery of a convenience store

An armed robbery of a minimarket took place in Naples (Thessaloniki) on the night of Sunday 11 December. The footage of the video captures the actions of the robber.

According to the data, in the evening after 10:30 pm, a person with obscured facial features enters a store on Rīga Fereiu Street and heads to the checkout. The seller approaches the counter to serve the client, but a young man in a sweatshirt and a hood thrown over his head suddenly shows a gun and, saying that this is a robbery, demands money from the cash register. The employee of the minimarket, keeping calm (if only such a thing is possible in this situation), hands over the money to the attacker, after which he leaves the store and hides in the narrow streets of the area.

The movements of the criminal were recorded by the security system of the outlet, which is already in the hands of ΕΛΑΣ. The investigator, having also received the fingerprints of the offender, conducts operational activities in order to identify the offender and arrest.

The criminal’s booty was just under 300 euros, according to a statement from the business owner. As he told grtimes.gr, earlier, some time ago, the same store was already robbed. According to available information, at the beginning of the month, unknown people broke into the outlet, breaking the locks and windows of the rear side door, and then, seizing cigarettes and other goods worth several thousand euros, disappeared.
