The woman had to endure moments of horror when she was attacked by a young foreigner in the Lasithi region (Crete).
The police of Ierapetra have been investigating cases of attacks on local residents over the past 24 hours, victims in the first case of rape, and in the second of attempted sexual acts. Hours after a 13-year-old girl filed a report that she was the victim of peer rape, the police received a new report, this time about an attack on a 50-year-old resident of the same area.
According to information Creta Post, it all happened last Saturday, 10/12, when the lady was at home alone. An allegedly 32-year-old foreigner of Pakistani origin entered the premises and tried to rape her. The woman raised a cry, and the young man, frightened that someone would come to the aid of a neighbor and be seized, rushed to his heels. The townswoman, being in shock, went to the police station and reported the incident.
The police are investigating the case, looking for a native of Pakistan.
