The three women in Patras had to go through moments of real terror when suddenly a young foreigner began to pursue them and then attacked.
According to a police statement, the foreigner was arrested and a criminal case was opened against him for attempted robbery, threats, minor bodily harm and sexual abuse.
In particular, on 14/08, the perpetrator attacked three walking girlfriends. Approaching, the guy pushed one of them, and the woman fell. Then the foreigner immobilized her, insulted her sexual dignity by his actions (lifted her blouse and kissed various parts of her body), and then tried to take the bag away.
When 2 other women arrived to help her friend, who quickly recovered from the first shock, the man tried to grab her bag from the victim’s hand, but did not complete his action.
Police of the Emergency Department of Patras were immediately mobilized and found the perpetrator on the main street of the city, arrested him and took him to the police station.
During the search of the detainee, carried out by the police, his mobile phone was found and seized. A check of his documents showed that the migrant does not have a residence permit (legal stay in our country). The detainee was taken to the prosecutor of the first instance court of Patras.
