What concerns PLF

All travelers to Greece, regardless of citizenship, fill out the PLF (Passenger Locator Form) electronic form at https://travel.gov.gr at any time before the flight to Greece.

The confirmation of the completion of the electronic PLF form, which the system automatically sends to the passenger by e-mail, is considered a necessary travel document.

Entering Greece with a vaccine certificate or negative PCR / express test result, medical certificate or digital certificate.

For travelers to Greece, the entry requirements are one of the following:

Pass at least 14 days after being vaccinated against the COVID-19 coronavirus and presenting a government agency certificate of vaccination in Greek, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian.

Have a negative diagnosis with a laboratory test for COVID-19 coronavirus by PCR within the last 72 hours or within 48 hours before arriving in Greece for rapid testing.

Alternatively, travelers to Greece must carry a medical history certificate, issued 30 days after the first positive test, and its validity is up to 180 days thereafter.

Travelers from abroad can also carry with them in digital or printed form the European digital certificate COVID-19 (EU DIGITAL COVID-19 CERTIFICATE), as well as from third countries, which contains information about vaccination or its result (48-hour express test or 72-hour PCR) or previous coronavirus disease.

Children aged 12 and over are checked.

The prerequisites (vaccination or negative test result, sickness certificate or electronic certificate) for entering Greece are valid for children aged 12 and over.

Traveler Spot Check
In addition, all international passengers will undergo a rapid test upon arrival in accordance with the procedure provided in the Passenger Search Form. If the rapid test is positive, a second PCR test will be performed immediately.

In case of a positive test result, the quarantine will be valid for 10 days, and if a foreign passenger is vaccinated and an express test on arrival shows that he has a positive result for the disease, he will remain in isolation for 7 days.

In both cases (10 or 7 days of the temporary restriction), in order to cancel the quarantine, persons undergo compulsory laboratory testing by the PCR method on the last day of their temporary restriction. All foreign passengers must strictly follow the instructions of the health authorities of our country.

Aviation directive for passengers from Russia
All travelers permanently residing in Russia and coming to Greece must have a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test (72 hours) or an express test (48 hours). This measure is mandatory and applies to all passengers permanently residing in Russia, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not.

In addition, all travelers from Russia will have to pass the COVID-19 test upon arrival in Greece.

The use of a mask is mandatory
Staff and passengers must wear a face shield when arriving and departing at airports and during air travel.

Passengers must also follow instructions from airport or airline personnel responsible for supervising and assisting passengers.

The implementation and control of the above provisions is carried out by airline employees and by sampling (tests) by the EODU authorities and the police. Airlines are obliged to check the passenger before boarding to confirm that he has the necessary documents, and in case of violation they are obliged to repatriate the passenger, taking full responsibility and at their own expense.
