Easter: Mini holidays just around the corner, 90% of accommodation in major tourist destinations booked


At a high level, more than 90%, the number of pre-bookings for Easter in 10 “must-see” destinations in mainland Greece was noted.

According to a survey by the Panhellenic real estate network E-Real Estates, many of our fellow citizens seem to have planned their vacation in advance, which for many has become extended: from Friday 26/04 to 6/06 inclusive.

Pre-bookings of properties registered on short-term rental platforms suitable for a family or group of 4 are recorded at high rates, and in Leonidio and Monemvasia it is already 100%. “Tourist dynamics will increase in the coming days in almost all destinations in mainland Greece. And the reason is nothing more than the cost of ferry tickets, which cannot be found “in the daytime” for the family, provided that you take your personal car with you,” says President of E-Real Estates Themistoklis Bakas.

Kalamata
According to AirDNA, 561 properties are registered on the short-term property rental platform, which is 29% more than in the same period last year. The cost of renting a house with an area of ​​82 square meters, at a distance of 900 meters from the city center, ranges from €365 for three nights, and a house with an area of ​​65 square meters at a distance of 4.5 km from the center can be rented for €296. The pre-booking rate on the Airbnb platform reaches 92%.

Nafplio
In Nafplion, pre-bookings reach 92%, the cost of renting a residence of 90 sq.m., at a distance of 150 meters from the center, starts from €368. Nafplio has a potential of 337 properties on short-term rental platforms, an increase of 22% compared to last year.

Leonidio/Tiros Beach
In Leonidio, the number of pre-orders for properties suitable for families with a minimum of 4 beds has already reached 100%. In Paralia Tyros, pre-bookings reach 95%, with a 2-bedroom house renting at €388 for three nights. South Kynuria Municipality currently has 269 properties listed on short-term rental platforms, up 28% on the corresponding period last year.

Monemvasia
Monemvasia is already registering 100% advance bookings. According to AirDNA, the short-term rental industry is growing at 220 properties, up 29% from the same period last year.

Kalambaka/Meteora
In Kalambaka, pre-orders reach 98%. The cost of renting a 70 square meter house for three nights starts from €300. The dynamics in the short-term rental sector amounted to 338 objects, which is 20% more than in the same period last year.

Metsovo
Metsovo does not record high dynamics in the field of short-term rentals. Advance booking reaches 90%. The cost of renting a house of 90 square meters (50 meters from the center) for three nights starts from €365.

Kalavryta
In Kalavrita, the cost of renting a house of 140 square meters, at a distance of 400 meters from the center, is rented for €518 for three nights. Advance bookings stand at 98%, with industry growth down 6% year-on-year.

Ioannina
In Ioannina, the number of pre-orders reaches 96%. The cost of renting a house with an area of ​​77 sq.m. at a distance of 1 km from the center starts from €335. According to AirDNA, the dynamics in the field of short-term rentals amounted to 532 properties, which is 34% more than in the same period last year.

Nafpaktos
In Nafpaktos, pre-booking of properties suitable for families with a minimum of 4 beds is already 98%. The cost of renting a house with an area of ​​60 square meters, at a distance of 1.2 km from the center, is €530 for three nights. Nafpaktia currently has 194 active properties on short-term rental platforms, an increase of 25% compared to the corresponding period last year.
