A group of thieves operating in Northern Greece fell into the hands of law enforcement officials.
In particular, three men are accused of thefts totaling 31 thousand euros committed in supermarkets in various cities. A case has been opened against them by the Edessa Security Department.
The accused are involved in a total of 22 cases of theft over the past 5 months, of which 19 were committed and three were attempted. Most of the thefts appear to have occurred in Thessaloniki, with the rest in Imathia, Kozani, Drama, Serres and Kavala. The criminals stole expensive products: alcoholic beverages, sunscreens and face creams, as well as… olive oil.
The amount stolen is estimated at 31,000 euros. Six mobile phones, previously stolen from an electronics store (until their actions were discovered by the police), were seized from the suspects.
