Another brutal mafia showdown – a 32-year-old man was shot in the head near a children's playground in Viron. The authorities are talking about execution.
According to them, the perpetrator of the murder of the Albanian last night carried out the execution of the mafia according to normal standards. He calmly shot the victim in the head and two more times in the torso; the victim was in the car at the time and did not even have time to react.
Homicide officers, based on the evidence collected, determined that the shooter was watching his victim with a camera, trying to find the right moment to open fire. He did this at the moment when the Albanian stopped his car to pick up his wife and child, who were on the playground.
In front of passers-by, a professional executioner approached the victim’s car and opened fire with a pistol. Immediately after this he managed to disappear. Police, writes CNN Greece is trying to collect CCTV footage in case they are able to trace the car's route and possibly gain additional information about the culprit.
Police information says that the murdered man was a permanent resident of Albania and came to Greece to see his wife and child. Authorities have the victim's name provided by the woman.
Albanian media report that this is a person known to the authorities. In November 2021, he, along with others, invaded a bar in search of his target and then opened fire with a military rifle at a car containing a young man, who was killed on the spot.
The woman's testimony is considered very important, but she cannot give it yet because she is in severe shock. Police are analyzing calls and contacts that were both on the deceased’s phone and on his woman’s mobile device.
