In St. Petersburg, a bus with 20 passengers fell into the Moika River

The Transport Committee reported that the bus driver lost control. A criminal case has been opened.

“The driver of the Taxi company bus, when turning from Bolshaya Morskaya Street to Potseluev Bridge, lost control, the bus spun around, broke through the fence and fell into the water. Emergency services and ambulance workers are on the scene. Representatives of the carrier and the leadership of the Transport Committee were also sent to the site,” – the committee clarified.

Rescuers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations lifted 9 people from a sunken bus. Two are in serious condition, four are in a state of clinical death. Unfortunately, 3 people died, writes the Fontanka publication.

The bus driver was also detained, writes Shot. According to the telegram channel, he will receive the necessary assistance in the hospital. According to preliminary data cited by Shot, the man became ill while driving, which is why he drove into the oncoming lane, knocked down several fences, hit two cars, made a detour, and flew into the water.
