A thirteen-year-old teenager in Vouliagmeni was bitten by a dog believed to belong to the family of Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The boy was taken to the hospital with leg injuries. The incident took place on the afternoon of Friday May 5th. The dog was in a protected area, but somehow managed to get out into the street. The reasons for the attack on the teenager returning from school are still unknown. The boy managed to fight off the animal and run away, doctors report that there is no threat to his health, although the animal managed to bite his arms and legs.
While investigating the incident, law enforcement officers called the Tsitsipas family’s house assistant, who is currently absent from Greece and is abroad, in connection with the obligations of Stefanos and Petros Tsitsipas at the tennis tournament. It was the housekeeper who was responsible for looking after the animals, writes newsbeast.gr.
