A list of the top three Greek islands for holidays in May and June has been published by Italy's most popular travel site (My Greek Salad), specializing in Greek destinations.
According to the publication, Astypalaia, Naxos and Skopelos offer excellent and varied experiences outside the “high season”, according to the impressions of hundreds of followers on the blog and social networks.
Beautiful Astypalaia is an island of the Dodecanese, which is “aesthetically” more reminiscent of the island of the Cyclades. Chora, with its mills, beaches and, above all, the feeling that time has stood still here, fascinates Italian travelers. A pioneering green project that will provide 100% sustainable vehicle mobility is making a big impression internationally.
Naxos takes second placewhich, the editor notes, is the ideal destination for those who love the real Greece, full of sandy beaches, mountain villages, alternative entertainment and picturesque squares with huge plane trees.
The list ends with Skopelos, which, according to My Greek Salad, is a place where the blue of the sea and the green of nature make a lasting impression. Despite its reputation, “The Island of Mamma Mia” has managed to remain authentic.
