Brands with the smell… of baguette


On Friday, French Postal Service issued 594,000 baguette-scented stamps to commemorate the famous French bread that President Emmanuel Macron once called “250 grams of magic and perfection.”

The stamps, priced at €1.96 each, feature a baguette with a ribbon in blue, red and white, the colors of the French flag. According to the Le Carre d'encre store in Paris where they are sold, the stamps have a “baking scent” because the ink used to print them contains microcapsules.
