Tatoi was removed in two days: the transformation of the territory for the procession of the funeral of King Konstantinos

In recent days, intensive cleaning and landscaping work has been carried out at the royal estate in Tatoi in anticipation of the visit of officials to Greece for the funeral of former King Constantine.

Following yesterday’s Associated Press images in Tatoi, new aerial videos of the royal estate have become public, confirming intensive preparations for the funeral. Chaos and desolation reigned in the royal estate after the devastating fire that occurred in 2021.

Crews of workers all these days are on the territory of the estate and, tirelessly, remove dry branches and fallen tree trunks, and are also engaged in landscaping (they planted oleander bushes – picrodhafni). Also today, a gravel path leading to the Holy Temple was laid.

Yesterday, early in the morning, members of Konstantin’s family visited Tatoi to monitor the progress of work and the results achieved so far. It is noted that the former king will be buried next to father Pavlos and mother Frederica.

Channels Up Stories and Droneas.gr flew a drone over Tatoy and recorded frame by frame the work done over the past few hours. As Minister of Culture and Sports Lina Mendoni told SKAI today, “the facility is ready and in good condition.”

Recall that on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, the former King of Greece, Constantine, died at the age of 83.

On Monday 16 January representatives of the “blue bloods” will come to Athens to the funeral. Incredible security measures will be applied in Athens.
