“Bonus” of 300 euros for the long-term unemployed

On Wednesday 24 April DYPA pays a one-off benefit of €300 to an additional 3,196 unsubsidized long-term unemployed people who have prepared a Digital Individual Action Plan.

In total, benefits have been paid to 100,186 beneficiaries so far. Payments appear on accounts within 1-2 business days after payment. The “bonus” will be given to those who have updated Digital ASD/Ψηφιακό ΑΣΔ. The plan is being created in order to increase the opportunities of the unemployed to find employment and find work.

It is recalled that the beneficiaries of the new benefit are unemployed people who have had a continuous registered period of unemployment for more than 5 years, receive the EEE benefit (formerly KEA) and have the following income:

up to 16,000 euros for singles,

24,000 euros for families (increases by 5,000 euros for 1 child),

29,000 euros for single-parent families (increases by 5,000 euros for each child after the first).

In this case, the total income from business activities of the household/family does not exceed 80,000 euros.

The procedure for applying and receiving benefits is as follows:

1. Potential beneficiaries log in using TaxisNet codes at https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/anergia/ephapax-khrematike-parokhe-gia-anergous.

2. It is necessary to enter information (or update details, if required) of the bank account (IBAN) for payment of benefits, and also indicate your marital status.

3. DYPA verifies the fulfillment of the requirements ex officio (period of unemployment and Digital ASD/Ψηφιακό ΑΣΔ), as well as by cross-checking with data from the competent authorities (AADE, HDIKA).

4. Payment is automatically made to the beneficiaries' accounts.

It should be noted that only those who have been unemployed for a long time for more than 5 years and have filled out/created a digital ASD can enter the platform and register IVAN.

Those unemployed people who have already drawn up an “Individual Action Plan (IAP)” should convert it into a “Digital ASD” (Ψηφιακό ΑΣΔ). In particular, you need to go to the electronic services (eservices) DYPA using TaxisNet codes and confirm (or update the ASD data) so that it turns into digital ASD/Ψηφιακό ΑΣΔ.

Unemployed people who have not yet completed an SDA planmust make an appointment with a Job Counselor at the Employment Promotion Center (KPA2) in their area, either via video conference (MyDYPAlive) or in person.
