Among the events held last week as part of Thessaloniki Pride, there was one that stood out for its originality and progressiveness.
According to voria.grsmall children under 13 sat around two transvestites and listened to stories read to them, against the backdrop of a colorful flag of the LGBT community.
The corresponding invitation to the event held on Navarino Square was made by the organization “Colorful School” (“Πολύχρωμο σχολείο”) with the support of the ActionAid youth center.
The public organization “Colorful School – Rainbow Families” organizes events for same-sex couples and same-sex families with children. The purpose of the events is to raise awareness of diversity issues among minors, even from infancy.
Recall, as Athens News wrote, yesterday LGBT events, Thessaloniki Pride, ended in Thessaloniki. The White Tower (Λευκός Πύργος) was lit with the colors of the community. And after the end of the parade, which brought together thousands of supporters of the movement of sexual minorities, a concert was held with the participation of Katerina Stikudi.
