"Thessaloniki inside out": The man inspected the trash can and then took a dip in the fountain

The incredible event was witnessed by pedestrians: a man climbed into an underground trash can, and then, as he got dirty, “dived” into the fountain to rinse.

As can be seen from a video uploaded by a concerned citizen to Facebook, “Thessaloniki is a beautiful city, although it is sometimes turned upside down here.”

The footage of the video shows how two men decide to commit theft from an underground trash can on Carolo Deal Street. But since the container is deep, the man decides to get into it and take out everything that has at least some value from there, writes iefimerida.gr.

As soon as he finished his work, the accomplice helped his comrade to get out of the garbage heap. After that, a man very dirty with waste “dived” into a nearby fountain to wash himself.

Miracles, and nothing more. However, a fountain is not a place intended for bathing. In extreme cases, this is a place for people to find, if we are talking about pedestrian fountains with a water surface blocked by a flooring.

But few people think about the fact that fountains (with illumination) are equipped with electrical equipment. And “bathing” in them sometimes can be fatal (lead to electric shock).
