The police rushed to the emergency call ΕΛΑΣ at dawn when they were informed of a shooting in an area full of entertainment venues and nightclubs.
According to the information, the incident occurred at 3:40 am near a well-known nightclub located on Persephone Street in Gazi. Citizens who called the police reported that shots were heard. After that, ΕΛΑΣ patrols arrived at the scene.
Police found six shell casings at the scene. Luckily, no one was hurt in the shooting. 6 shell casings have been sent to a forensic laboratory to determine if they belong to weapons that have been used in the past.
Police officers Ασφάλειας Αττικής, who conducted a preliminary investigation, are analyzing footage from surveillance cameras and looking for any eyewitnesses to the incident.
