Princess Kate of Wales has been diagnosed with cancer. She officially announced this on her X page:
“This has been a huge shock and William and I are doing everything we can to process this and deal with it privately for the sake of our young family. The medical team recommended that I undergo preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of this treatment.”
How told Kate, the cancer was discovered during tests done after abdominal surgery in January. The princess did not specify the type of cancer, only said that at the end of February she began undergoing chemotherapy.
Many rumors have been generated by Kate Middleton’s absence from public space after surgery. writes “Novaya Gazeta.Europa”. The princess was expected to return to her ceremonial duties after Easter. On March 10, a photograph of Kate surrounded by her children and husband appeared, but photo agencies soon withdrew it after discovering signs of digital manipulation. The next day, the princess said that she had tried to edit the photo and apologized for the misunderstanding.
