Report "about happiness": where the happiest people live

The happiness report for 2021-2023 showed that residents of Finland consider themselves the happiest. What about Greece?

Alas, the Greeks are far from “complete happiness” – the country ranks 64th out of 143 positions in the world on this list. The citizens of Afghanistan feel the most unhappy. Russia is only in 72nd place, behind Moldova, and Ukraine, for obvious reasons, occupies 105th position.

Israel is in 5th place, Palestine is in 102. In the top 10 are the countries of the “cold part” of Europe – apparently, the feeling of happiness does not depend on the climate, cost of living and taxes, because in northern Europe they are the highest and amount to up to 80%. Germany, Italy, France are not among the top twenty “happy” countries, says the report.

The happiest young people live in Lithuania, and the happiest people 65+ live in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland – countries with a very high standard of living.
