The Russians launched a massive attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, using Kh-101 and Kalibr cruise missiles and Kinzhal supersonic missiles.
The missiles were launched from Mig-31 fighters, Tu-95 MS strategic bombers (at least 10) and from ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

The targets of the missile attack were energy infrastructure and military facilities. “Several powerful explosions were heard early this morning in the center of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, after an alarm sounded about a raid by Russian armed forces with missiles and drones,” a correspondent for the French agency reports. The journalist reported that from 05:00 local and Greek time, about ten explosions were heard, as well as Ukrainian air defense strikes.
