Arrest for molesting a minor on a bus

A 17-year-old girl became a victim of sexual harassment yesterday, Tuesday, while she was on a bus traveling around the Kipseli district.

The perpetrator is reported to be a 37-year-old Pakistani man, who was identified and arrested by a police officer from the DIAS team.

The city bus made its daily route along Patision Street. The incident occurred around 6 pm. The girl was sexually harassed by a foreigner. The DIAS emergency response unit immediately arrived at the scene, the Pakistani was arrested and taken to the local police station.
