The name of ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny is used for fake websites.
About it reports The Center for Countering Disinformation, warning that behind the creation of fake online platforms allegedly associated with Zaluzhny, there is an enemy seeking to split Ukrainian society.
Advertisements for similar sites are distributed online; the resources are hosted on different domains and created anonymously, the Center for Countering Disinformation reported on February 10:
“The Center notes that these sites are not associated with Valery Zaluzhny, and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have already been informed about their activities. Probably, behind the creation of these online platforms is an enemy who seeks to split Ukrainian society and uses various means for this. In particular, the sites “lead to anonymous TG bots that collect information about users, which in the future can be used against citizens of Ukraine. We warn you against registering on these resources and ask you to trust only verified sources.”
