The UK Ministry of Defense speaks of a sharp increase in men with disabilities aged 31-59 years in the Russian Federation.
In London, they claim that Russian troops have lost about 450 thousand people killed and wounded in the war in Ukraine since February 2022, and last year the number of disabled men in Russia increased at a record level. About this last Sunday, April 28, reported UK Ministry of Defence.
The report says that as of 2023, the number of disabled men aged 31-59 years in the Russian Federation reached 2.18 million, and in 2022 this figure was 1.68 million. British intelligence concludes: “Thus, the increase in disabled people in society was 30%.”
According to Russian demographers, the increase in those who can be called disabled appears to be related to losses during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
