It seems that spending Christmas on the beach was chosen by those who did not leave the city for a number of reasons. However, they wanted to “be in nature.”
Good sunny weather and an air temperature of about +20°C forced many residents of the capital to go for a walk to the beaches of Attica, for example, to Paleo Faliro.
The bravest ones, without hesitation, put on a swimsuit, took a towel and plunged into the warm (by the standards of this time of year) sea waves. Others simply enjoyed sunbathing and the gentle sea breeze. Christmas this year was one of the hottest in recent years.
