Ukrainians died in Germany, a Russian is suspected of murder


Two Ukrainians were seriously stabbed in Germany and died from them. The 57-year-old suspect, a Russian citizen, was detained.

The incident occurred near a shopping center in the city of Murnau, police reports German Bavaria. The police were called at around 5.20pm on Saturday 27 April. When the doctors arrive, writes “European Truth”, one of the wounded died, the second died soon in the hospital.

The dead are citizens of Ukraine aged 23 and 36 years. They lived in the neighboring district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. During investigative actions (video) not far from the scene of the incident, a suspect, a Russian citizen, was detained at his home.

The criminal police, led by the Munich prosecutor's office, are investigating the incident as a double murder. The prosecutor's office asks the court to choose arrest as a preventive measure; the issue will be considered today, Sunday, April 28.

Law enforcement officers are trying to establish all the circumstances of the incident and possible motives. Police are looking for witnesses who can provide any useful information.
