The Crystal Ball, an award for the best televised weather forecast, was presented at an altitude of 2,650 meters in the Austrian Alps to an ERT meteorologist taking part in an international meeting.
As Mr. Yiannopoulos said, he was especially pleased because he was considered the best by his colleagues – 40 people from 10 countries who took part in the symposium. “That’s why ERT is also at the top,” the forecaster added.
The meeting took place in the highlands of Ischgl with the participation of 45 meteorologists working for 20 European television channels from 10 countries.
