Al-Hadat: Israel and Hamas agreed to exchange hostages

Saudi Arabian media, citing sources in both Hamas and Israeli intelligence, report that an agreement has been reached between the two sides to exchange hostages.

According to Al Hadath, the agreement calls for the exchange of 100 Palestinian women and children held in Israeli prisons for various offenses for 100 women and children held hostage by Hamas. Israel has not confirmed anything at this time, and Hamas has not made any confirmation either.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced today, Friday 10/11, that there have been deaths since the outbreak of hostilities. 11,078 people, including 4,506 children. Official statistics do not specify how many of the adults killed were civilians and how many were soldiers.

While US President Joe Biden has openly questioned the figures released by the health ministry in Gaza, which is after all under Hamas occupation, US Deputy Secretary of State Barbara Leif told lawmakers earlier in the week that “very likely”What the number of casualties is even higher.

Blinken: “Too many Palestinians have died.” The US Secretary of State said from New Delhi that the US appreciates Israeli efforts to “minimize” civilian casualties in Gaza, but they proved insufficient. The United States has offered ideas to the Israelis, including longer pauses in humanitarian bombing and allowing more aid trucks through, the Associated Press reported.

“Israel’s efforts to suspend military operations, as well as to form a second humanitarian corridor for the rescue (of the Palestinians) deserve high praise– he said.- We will save lives and be able to send aid to the Palestinians who need it.”

However, he made clear that more needs to be done to protect civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid. “Too many Palestinians have died, too many tortured over the past few weeks”concluded the chief American diplomat.
