Kozani: snake caused panic in the city center

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Kozani when a passerby spotted the snake in the central part of the city.

According to kozanilife.gr, a citizen noticed the reptile and immediately called the local fire department. He remained at the scene until rescuers arrived and “prevented his escape.” As you can see in the video, the snake is between parked cars.

Officers from the Kozani Police Department rushed to the spot where they caught the snake with tongs, after which they took it out of town and released it into its natural habitat. Snakes and other wildlife inhabitants often began to visit cities, according to local residents.
