On Monday afternoon (29/4), a fight between minors occurred in one of the schools in Thessaloniki: a 12-year-old boy threatened his classmate with a knife after a quarrel.
According to reports, it all happened around 18:30 in the courtyard of an elementary school in Stavroupoli, when two children argued with a peer, and during the quarrel the latter hit and slightly injured one of them. The teenager then took a knife from his friend and began to threaten his peer, who allegedly attacked him without harming him.
The teenager, who was threatened, called his father and then the police. After everyone involved was taken to the police station, the two knife-wielding teenagers and the father of one of them were arrested.
A case has been opened against two teenagers on charges of violating the Weapons Law, and a case has been opened against a 45-year-old parent for neglecting the supervision of a minor.
Those arrested were released by oral order of the prosecutor.
