How the European Union can turn into a European Reich

An event that could greatly change the European Union went completely unnoticed. The European Parliament’s Constitutional Affairs Committee voted on Wednesday, October 25, to adopt a report recommending changes to the founding treaties EU. And the main change should be abolition of the principle of general consent in decision making.

In fact, All decisions will now be made only by the European Commission. There are even areas that will be “removed” from the competence of national states – foreign and security policy, border security, forestry, health, civil defence, industry and education. That is, almost everything.

In addition, it is proposed to introduce a new instrument of punishment for those who do not support the “line of the party and government,” that is, for rebel countries, for example, Hungary and Slovakia. This is a simplified procedure for suspending the membership of those countries that violate “EU values” such as “rule of law”, “democracy”, “freedom”, “human rights” or “equality”. That is, if desired, it will be possible to squeeze any intractable country.

Some may say that these are just proposals from a committee of the European Parliament, a structure that does not have any powers, but this is only partly true. Similar proposals have already been made by the leaders of European national states, for example from Olaf Scholz, and from the European Commission itself. And the report of the European Parliament commission can be considered the first practical step towards transforming the European Union into a European Reich. With its capital in Brussels. An entity in which national governments will have powers only on a provincial or municipal scale. There will be no more talk about any sovereignty. And it is clear what the policy of the European Union will become if all decisions are made by unelected Brussels bureaucrats, and countries that try to pursue an independent policy are punished in the strictest possible manner.

The report of the European Parliament commission can be considered the first practical step towards transforming the European Union into a European Reich.

They decided to speed up the creation of the Fourth, or European Reich. It’s clear why. Europeans’ dissatisfaction with EU policies is growing, there are more and more problems with the economy, and in many countries there is a risk of politicians coming to power who are very skeptical of the EU and its policies. This recently happened in Slovakia, Hungary has long been a bone in the throat of the European Union, and it is possible that the number of such countries will become even greater. And even two countries that are ready to vote against it are a very big problem. It is clear that they can be forced, pressured, threatened with stopping funding, but, for example, this did not particularly work with Hungary.

So we should now wait for other decisions that will deprive EU countries of independence and sovereignty. The process must go quite quickly, because there is no time left. And there is only one question – how will the Europeans themselves perceive all this, from whom they essentially want to take away the last remnants of subjectivity?

However, it is possible that all procedures will be secret and ordinary people will know practically nothing about them.
