The Israeli army said it carried out a night raid using tanks in the Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF, the operation took place in the north of the enclave:
“Overnight, the IDF conducted a targeted tank raid in the northern Gaza Strip in preparation for the next phases of the fighting. At the end of the raid, the soldiers left the area.”
The army press service reports that the IDF carried out overnight strikes against Hamas militants, their infrastructure and anti-tank missile launch sites in the north.
Israel, writes The air force has not launched the expected ground invasion of Gaza, but says the raid was “preparation for the next phases of hostilities.”
In preparation for the next stages of combat, the IDF operated in northern Gaza.
