German citizens are urged to holiday in Greece in the fall

“Samos has everything it takes to offer an unforgettable experience even out of season. According to statistics, until the end of August, a 5.3% increase in aircraft arrivals was recorded compared to 2022. The tourist flow was at a good pace in September, and in October, we hope that foreign guests will also come to us,” said Despina Kayla, Deputy Mayor for Tourism of the Municipality of East Samos.

The participation of the island municipality in the international tourism exhibition in Berlin was preceded by a number of professional meetings and fruitful contacts with the EOT office.

It is also noted that at the initiative of the Municipality of Eastern Samos, the first professional study tour was recently organized with the participation of representatives of 12 leading international cruise lines and the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). “This promotion is the first step in an organized approach to cruising that could lead to a longer season in the future,” added Ms. Kayla.
