The Ukrainian Migration Service stated that they do not consider Ukrainians who fled the war to be refugees and ask the West not to consider them in this status.

Natalya Naumenko, head of the State Medical University of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Censor.NET. quotes “A country”:

According to other data, there are more than 4 million Ukrainians in the countries of the European Union. Among them are men who left illegally, who in Ukraine are warned about criminal liability in case of return. Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, warned that after returning home, Ukrainians currently hiding abroad will face serious “legal problems.”

Meanwhile, in the European Union, at the level of interior ministers, they agreed to extend the temporary protection mechanism for refugees from Ukraine for one year – from March 4, 2024 to March 4, 2025. writes “European truth”.
