DYPA Free Nurseries: Who is eligible, how to apply, when is the deadline

On Sunday, July 2, 2023, the deadline for submitting online applications for registration and re-registration of children in 26 kindergartens (Βρεφονηπιακούς Σταθμούς of the State Employment Service DYPA) for 2023-2024.

Nursery facilities are open from September 1 to July 31, from 06:45 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday), and are focused on infants and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years. The educational institution implements daily program of creative activities for the harmonious psychosomatic development of children. The selection criterion is based on the economic and social indicators of the family.

In Attica, ΒΝΣ operate in the municipalities:

• Aharne,
• Agia Varvara,
• Ano Liosion,
• Elefsina,
• Keratsini,
• moschato,
• Olimpic village,
• Peristeri.

In the rest of Greece, they operate in cities:

• Agrinio,
• Arta,
• Drama,
• igoumenitsa,
• Yanina,
• kavala,
• Kalamata,
• carditsa,
• Karpenisi,
• komotini,
• Larisa,
• Mesolonghi,
• Naoussa,
• xanthi,
• Patras,
• Pilaia Thessaloniki,
• Serres,
• Trikala.

Applications are made exclusively online via gov.gr with TAXISnet access codes at: gov.gr → Εκπαίδευση → Εγγραφή σε βρεφικό και παιδικό σταθμό → Εγγραφή σε βρεφο νηπιακό σταθμό της Δημόσιας Υπηρεσίας Απασχόλησης (ΔΥΠΑ).

Beneficiaries are parents, guardians, trustees of children who:

• During 2022-2023 had a total of 25 days of insurance with eEFKA and/or received special maternity protection and/or regular unemployment benefit and/or long-term unemployment benefit.

or

• Have been registered in the DYPA Unemployment Register for at least 2 months prior to the application deadline.

or

• Are recipients of unemployment benefits for the self-employed insured (τ. ΟΑΕΕ, τ. ΕΤΑΠ-ΜΜΕ, t. ΕΤΑΑ).

After completion of the application process, preliminary tables will be published selected and excluded children. Beneficiaries will be able submit objections within 3 days.
