The victims were struck "good robbers"

The businessman’s family, residents of Nea Ionia in Attica, suffered a nightmare on Tuesday evening (6/06) when thieves managed to break into their 4th floor apartment through an open balcony door.

It all happened around 02:00 on Wednesday, when three robbers entered one of the apartments of a multi-storey building located on Saputzaki Street. Inside was a 78-year-old businessman with his wife and daughter. A man who was the victim of a robbery told MEGA about what happened: “At a quarter to three, they entered the house. They jumped from a neighboring apartment building standing nearby. What these “acrobats” do is known. They demanded money, but at the same time they were, so to speak… very kind: they just took the money and left.”

The attackers, having opened the balcony door, woke up the businessman’s family so that they would give them money and jewelry as soon as possible. According to a 78-year-old man, they did not use violence, but kept weapons for intimidation.

Although the businessman’s family members were frightened by the three strangers who invaded their home, their attitude greatly impressed the victims sitting at gunpoint. “I was impressed by their kindness. Nobody touched us. They specifically told us, “We are not criminals. We are thieves.”

The criminals, having taken possession of money and jewelry from the house, ordered the man to take them to the first floor of an apartment building where he does business. There, on the orders of the robbers, he opened the safe and gave them all the money that was there. The three criminals managed to get away with more than 9,500 euros and valuable jewelry.
