A one and a half year old baby was locked in his mother’s car in Thessaloniki. In this regard, the intervention of the police was required to help get him out of the car.
The child, under unclear circumstances, was locked in a private car in Pylaea. The mother tried to open the car, but the keys were left in the ignition and she could not do anything, according to the ERT channel.
People gathered at the scene, and police officers from the DIAS group passed by, who intervened to help a panicked mother and a child screaming in a car. As a result, law enforcement officers broke the glass on the passenger seat and took the baby out of the passenger compartment. Reportedly, the little one did not remain in the car for long, but apparently that was enough for him to be frightened to death.
We will remind, recently in Greece there was a shocking case. The father “forgot” his son in the car and “remembered” only after 5 hours (other sources indicate 3 hours). The child by this time died of dehydration and suffocation.
