Biden will run for a second term

US President Joe Biden intends to run for a second term, but is not yet ready to announce it.

On Monday, NBC News informedthat the decision to start the election campaign of the incumbent US president is at the final stage. However, in an interview with Today show host Al Roker, Biden said he was not ready to publicly talk about his plans for next year:

“I’m planning to run, Al, but we’re not ready to announce it yet.”

Meanwhile, channel sources attributed the delay in the official announcement to the fact that Biden wants to “keep the option” not to run. According to a February poll by AP-NORC, a public opinion research center, most US Democratic Party supporters believe the president should not be up for reelection in 2024.

Meanwhile, as writes Axios, the White House decided to create a pool of bloggers who will promote US President Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 elections. Biden’s yet-to-be-announced re-election campaign will rely on hundreds of influencers to improve the president’s approval rating. Soon bloggers may even have their own briefing room at the White House.
