Prigozhin accused the Russian Defense Minister of treason

The head of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin on Tuesday accused high-ranking Russian officials of depriving the fighters of his group fighting in Ukraine of ammunition and calling them traitors.

His accusations of high treason are directed at Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov. According to Prigozhin, officials deprived his fighters of ammunition in an attempt to destroy the Wagner group, which, according to Prigozhin, is tantamount to high treason. On his Telegram channel, he posted a voice message: “There is direct opposition,” emphasizing that “this can be equated with sheer treason.”

This is the second such message in 2 days, published by Prigogine. On Monday, he stated that officials (without naming them) were refusing to send supplies to Wagner out of hostility towards him.

The message, written in a raised voice, accused the Russian Defense Minister and the head of the General Staff of deliberately creating a shortage of weapons, which, according to him, led to an increase in losses among the military of his group fighting in the Bakhmut area. Wagner’s founder concluded: “Those who prevent us from winning this war are certainly working for the enemy,” he was quoted as saying. CNN Greece.
