Armed supermarket robbery

On Thursday night, an armed robbery took place in one of the supermarkets located in the Kipseli area.

According to law enforcement agencies, there were two attackers, and they entered the store shortly before closing, at 21:00. They immobilized the 54-year-old employee by pointing firearms (carbine and pistol) at him. Then they snatched money from two cash registers and disappeared.

Investigation ΕΛΑΣ on the location and arrest of the robbers is in full swing. The movements of the two men were reportedly recorded by the store’s surveillance cameras, which are now being carefully examined by specialists.
